Our client is a well-respected and longstanding provider of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management services across the West Midlands. Due to consistent growth, they are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer to join their established team. Covering Healthcare, Educational, Local Authority, Commercial and Leisure sites, you will be working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines to carry out a wide range of remedial and legionella compliance duties. For the successful candidate, our client can offer a company healthcare scheme, pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and generous travel time rates.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Telford, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Worcester, Solihull, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Lichfield, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Stoke-on-Trent.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have hands on experience working for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company working as a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer.
" Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing is essential.
" Holding the G3 unvented certificate would be beneficial to the role.
" Must have excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Will be IT literate, able to update logbooks.
" Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels.
" Able to prioritise workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" TMV servicing, repairs, and replacements alongside failsafe testing.
" Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
" Deadleg removals.
" Replacing, repairing, and re-routing of copper and PVC Pipes.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Expansion vessel flushing.
" Carrying out fault finding on site, ensuring any faults are rectified in a timely manner.
" Inspections and installs of unvented hot water cylinder (If G3 unvented certificate is held)
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
