Assistant Site Manager - Birmingham

Assistant Site Manager - a leading privately-owned construction contractor are recruiting an Assistant Site Manager to join their growing operations team based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to work on prestigious design and build projects including student accommodation, high-rise residential, build-to-rent and commercial developments across the West Midlands.

The initial project is a student accommodation development in Birmingham valued at £35m.

Requirements:
- Experience delivering D&B projects as an Assistant SM
- Experience managing construction sub-contractors
- Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
- SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage operations on site to ensure work is completed safely
- Ensure works are being delivered to programme
- Manage sub-contractors and specialist trades
- Ensure site records are maintained

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Assistant Site Manager delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £10m - £20m.
