About the Role:
Are you motivated, committed, and ready for a new challenge? As an EV Civils Site Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of ducting and cable systems, ensuring quality and safety on all project sites. You'll be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of contractors' compliance with Health & Safety standards and will conduct regular quality assurance audits.
We'll support you in developing your skills, but you'll bring your own drive, flexibility, and commitment. A valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel between project sites nationwide are essential.
What You'll Need:
* SMSTS Qualification (required)
* CSCS Card (required)
* Streetworks qualification (desirable)
* Flexibility for site travel
* Commitment to Health & Safety standards
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
Your Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all CDM responsibilities as the principal contractor.
* Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client.
* Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard management to maintain compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
* Conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and PPE, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Issue permits and manage safety documentation on-site.
* Ensure resource allocation is cost-effective and efficient.
* Coordinate Temporary Works and conduct regular quality checks to meet audit standards.
Additional Duties:
* Conduct excavation monitoring and use of cable avoidance tools.
* Mark and update "as-laid" drawings.
* Complete risk assessments, including Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA).
* Participate actively in on-site activities to ensure timely project completion.
* Oversee the security and upkeep of tools, vehicles, and other equipment at the worksite.
