Position Overview:Theyare seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction. The successful candidate will oversee the mechanical aspects of theirresidential projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all mechanical site works for residential construction projects.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate on-site teams, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain Inspection and Test Plans to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Review and maintain Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments (RAMS) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Progress Reporting: Produce accurate project reports and update the program of works as needed.
- Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients to resolve any discrepancies and ensure satisfaction.
- Commissioning Support: Assist commissioning teams during the project handover phase.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to produce and interpret technical reports and drawings.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or construction management are preferred.
