A leading Midlands-based company in the construction contracting industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join their team, reporting to the Managing Director. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach and a commitment to fully immersing yourself in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the operation which includes maintenance division and contracts office, ensuring that the teams are delivering on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, creating a safe working environment for staff and subcontractors.
- Monitor contract progress and resolve any issues that arise, taking a problem-solving approach to keep contracts on track.
- Manage purchasing and procurement, ensuring materials and equipment are sourced efficiently and managed effectively
- Implement and maintain contract management procedures, with a solid understanding of contract law.
- Utilize IT skills to support contracts management and business operations.
