The planned works team leader will assist the voids production manager in the delivery of a high performing, effective and efficient voids repairs and maintenance service including the monitoring of a team of trade operatives and sub-contractors.

Client Details

This client are a well known social housing contractor who cover the whole of the UK on a wide range of repairs and maintenance contracts - including voids and planned maintenance projects. They work alongside local authorities, councils and housing associations to deliver high quality customer service and work.

Description

Your role will involve:

  • Being responsible for the supervision of a team of trade operatives and sub-contractors delivering a wide range of responsive and reactive maintenance jobs/projects.
  • Bring responsible for the efficient use of resources and ensuring that, job planning, appointments, resource allocation, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and continuously improved in accordance with service delivery targets.
  • Being responsible for bringing to the attention of the voids production manager any arrangements/proposals that will improve job control, operational performance, relationships with clients representatives and maximise the utilisation of the company's IT system.

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role - this could be a voids team leader, repairs supervisor, site supervisor looking to step up into a higher level role, repairs team leader or planned works supervisor.

You will be able to hit the ground running in terms of the role and ideally have the following qualifications:

  • NVQ level 4/5 in Supervision
  • Scaffold Inspection
  • First Aid at Work
  • Gas Safety Awareness
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Safe Working at Height
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • Current valid driving license
