  • Accountable for Leading HSE compliance, including overall area specific Zero Harm Boards and Risk Reduction activities.
  • Accountable for Zero Defects Programs, including process control, standard work and reduced variation for plant.
  • Accountable for leading, motivating and engaging with Production Shift Managers, Production Team Leaders & Production Operators through effective communication e.g., engagement, team briefings, regular interaction on the shop floor, involvement in Zero Harm and Zero Defects teams.
  • Will lead the team in developing and implementing effective systems for improving internal and external quality, cost improvements and on-time delivery to the customer requirements.
  • Is responsible for managing the performance of direct reports and other team members to include annual appraisal, performance management and identifying development opportunities.
  • Will work with Human Resources on people management issues including disciplinaries, grievances and performance related issues.

  • Possess a strong background in a heavy manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills, comfortable dealing with all levels of a business.
  • Experienced in owning and delivering continuous improvement projects 
  • Possess experience managing budgets.
