Job Description: Senior Site Manager
Location: Central Birmingham
Provisional Start Date: 9th December 2024
Duration: 10–11 weeksÂ
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee a high-profile fit-out project in Central Birmingham. The project involves a CAT B fit-out, including the installation of furniture across the 8th and 9th floors of a 9,000 sq. ft. office space.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Manage all aspects of the CAT B fit-out project, including coordination of trades, delivery schedules, and resource planning.
- Health and Safety: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and implementing appropriate measures.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the client, contractors, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
- Quality Control: Oversee the execution of the fit-out works to ensure high-quality finishes, particularly for furniture installations and bespoke tea point/social space areas.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly to maintain the project timeline.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of progress, expenditures, and any changes to the project scope.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within office fit-out or refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of CAT B fit-outs and furniture installation processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
