About the Role
They are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee and manage construction sites across the Midlands region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of bulk earthworks and groundworks civils projects, managing teams ranging from 8 to 30 personnel depending on the size and scope of each project.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate site teams on bulk earthworks and groundwork civils projects.
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular progress meetings.
- Monitor work progress and resolve any issues or challenges promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to senior management.
Skills and Experience Required
- Essential: Previous experience in bulk earthworks and groundworks civils.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage crews of 8 to 30 individuals.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring best practices are implemented across all site activities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to travel across the Midlands as required.
- Proficiency in reading site drawings and managing resources effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
Certifications:
- Valid CSCS card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (or equivalent).
