Toolsetter experience necessary*

OnePlace Solutions, one of the Midlands leading recruitment agencies, are looking for TOOL SETTERS to start at a client based at B46 Coleshill, starting on atemp-to-perm basis, with a walk-around prior to starting!

Job responsibilities are as follows:

• Responsibility for mounting, aligning and securing tools in the production press making the relevant technical and mechanical adjustments as needed.
• Regular measurement of work pieces in conjunction with QC - to determine accuracy of machine operation using micrometer height gauges, templates, or other relevant instruments.
• Detailed observation of machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Responsibility for removal of tools from machines when production run is finished
• Responsibility for inspection of first and last piece from latest production run with the assistance of QC, Production Team and Tool Room to ensure that any necessary adjustments or repairs are performed.
• Work with Production Planning Department to ensure that jobs are set up as required so that production schedule runs as efficiently as possible.
• Responsibility to maintain quality records and company quality standards to meet with relevant industry and customer specifications
• Working with the tool room team, logistics, sales and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders Ensure 5S is maintained throughout the workplace Maintain and update tool set up sheets as required

Presses you would be using:Zani 150 tonne, Chin Fong 300 tonne, Bruderes 60 tonne and various Sweeney single action presses *experience on these presses preferable*

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 7am until 3:30pm
• Friday - 7am until 11:30am.

Pay rate:

• Starting from £14.50ph

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity.
