Description

  • Develop and implement digital content strategies for FMCG marketing campaigns.
  • Lead and manage copywriting for various digital platforms including websites, third-party supplier sites, ecommerce marketplaces, and email marketing.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align digital content with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse digital content performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure all digital content is SEO-optimised.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed.
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the content team.
  • Managing the Product Information Management Systems to utilise key product data

Profile

A successful Digital Copywriting and Content Manager should have:

  • A degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Copywriter or Content Manager.
  • Experience of writing product listings within the Retail marketplace
  • Strong knowledge of digital content strategy and marketing.
  • Proficiency in SEO and keyword research.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Experience of working with Product Information Management systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to travel to their offices in Birmingham 3 days a week and 2 days WFH
