If so, a growing energy broker is looking for an Energy Consultant to engage with B2B customers to sell flex contracts. The Energy Consultant, will be a true 'hunter’ used to researching the market/ potential target business, generating their own leads, negotiating and closing contracts. If you are an experience B2B sales professional within the energy industry and confident you can sign/ introduce over 1GW of business on flexible contracts this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- New business sales which will involve a substantial volume of 'cold-calls’, networking etc.
- Solely focused on selling energy and gas procurement specifically selling flexible basket product
- Generate own leads via prospecting & existing relationships
- Drive own B2B cold calling / LinkedIn messaging / emailing strategy
- Get signed LOA’s and recent bills from potential customers
- Manage your own strategies and leads
- Efficiently handle associated administrative tasks
Skills/behavioural attributes required:
- Min. of 1-year B2B sales experience within the energy industry either from an energy broker/ supplier
- Experience in selling flex procurement. Min. customer size of 150,000kWh
- Target and results driven - desire to exceed targets and achieve success is vital.
- Experience in a high-volume cold call environment is also essential.
- The ability to quickly build effective relationships and gain commitment over the phone.
- Ability to be flexible, handle objections, display initiative and work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and passionate about making a difference
- Great interpersonal skills and consistently display excellent communication and sales skills.
- Computer literate and possess excellent organisational and administrative skills.
