I'm working with an innovative digital product studio based in Birmingham, and we're looking for a talented freelance SEO Specialist to join their team. This studio is renowned for creating high-performing, inclusive digital products, platforms, and services that deliver real business outcomes.

About the Role:

As the Freelance SEO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the studio's digital strategy, driving organic growth, and enhancing search engine rankings across a variety of exciting projects. You'll work alongside a team of digital experts, ensuring that SEO best practices are embedded throughout the design and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve SERP rankings.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities.
  • Optimise website content, architecture, and meta-data for both desktop and mobile to maximise performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the digital product team to align SEO with broader business objectives.
  • Regularly monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance SEO efforts.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, ideally in a digital product or agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, including audits, site structure, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Passion for creating inclusive, user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
