About the Role:
As the Freelance SEO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the studio's digital strategy, driving organic growth, and enhancing search engine rankings across a variety of exciting projects. You'll work alongside a team of digital experts, ensuring that SEO best practices are embedded throughout the design and development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve SERP rankings.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities.
- Optimise website content, architecture, and meta-data for both desktop and mobile to maximise performance.
- Collaborate closely with the digital product team to align SEO with broader business objectives.
- Regularly monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance SEO efforts.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, ideally in a digital product or agency setting.
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO, including audits, site structure, and HTML.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Passion for creating inclusive, user-friendly digital experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
