Job Title: Building Services EngineerAbout the Role:We are seeking skilled Building Services Engineers to join our team, specialising in Mechanical, Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, or Gas services. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and pre-planned maintenance tasks, ensuring a permanent fix to issues while delivering exceptional service to our customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to meet customer specifications and in-house targets.
- Address reactive maintenance requests promptly, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in plant and equipment, advising relevant parties on necessary repairs.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, leaving work areas clean and tidy.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and update job details in real-time using mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk to order parts and manage van stock levels for efficient repairs.
- Proactively engage with clients to address concerns and relay feedback to management.
- Work independently from drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.
- Mentor and coach trainees to enhance their skills and career development.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and account teams regarding additional work quotes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in one or more of the following specializations: Mechanical, Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, or Gas.
- Full driving license.
- Relevant current qualifications in your area of expertise.
