The role of the Contracts Engineer HVAC Systems will involve:
Contracts Engineer position dealing with a range of HVAC equipment including AHUs, air conditioning units, chillers and ventilation systems
Act as the main point of contact for clients and sub-contractors
Managing site installations projects from order to handover
Carry out pre-start site surveys, organised subcontract labour, oversee site progress, arrange deliveries of materials and equipment, H&S audits, site inductions and quality checks
Producing a detailed project programme of works
Effective handling of each project to maximise profitability
Producing documentation to meet CDM Regulations
Working on projects ranging in value from £1,000 to £200,000
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Engineer HVAC Systems with:
Must have engineering or management experience within the construction industry, ideally with a bias to HVAC / M&E market sectors
Must have the ability to find and resolve various issues
Ideally will have an Air Conditioning or related qualification
Sound understanding of construction H&S legislation
SMSTS/SSSTS
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to accurately complete all paper work and reports
Full UK driving license
Must be driven, hungry, self-motivated with a keen willingness to learn
Must be flexible and adaptable
