Our client is a leading supplier of engineering solutions to their prestigious client base. They now have a vacancy for a Heavy Mechanical Engineer to join their team based at their site in Birmingham. The successful Heavy Mechanical Engineer will oversee the mechanical activities for production and projects within the plant.

Heavy Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

  • Proven experience of medium to heavy, industrial mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with fluid power systems, HP/LP Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
  • Must have completed an apprenticeship and hold a qualification to a minimum of Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ).
  • Ability to read Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematic drawings.
  • Self-motivated and can-do attitude.

Heavy Mechanical Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday - 7.30am - 4pm.
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
