Our longstanding client service a diverse range of industry sectors, they are looking for a Junior Service Engineer to join their busy and growing team!
Junior Service Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strip, report and test the condition of pumps and pumping equipment
- Working inhouse and on customer sites
- Working as part of a team with senior service engineers or with lone working
- Be responsible for the tools provided, ensuring they are in safe working order and not damaged
The ideal Junior Service Engineer will:
- Hold a clean UK Driving License
- Be from a Mechanical/ Electrical background
- Be flexible with working hours (Site visits would be across the UK)
- Counterbalance Forklift License (Desirable)
- Medium Risk confined space qualified (Desirable)
- CSCS accreditation (Desirable
- Previous experience working with centrifugal, vertical trunk, twin/triple screw, gear, circulator or borehole pumps (beneficial but not essential)
Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday 08:00 - 15:30
- Overtime paid at a premium: Time + 1/3 Monday - Friday, Time + 1/2 Saturday, Double time Sundays
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Holiday entitlement increasing 1 day per annum to a max of 25 days
- Medical insurance starting after 12 months service
