If yes, we want to hear from you!Annual Salary: £47,000 to £50,000Weekly Shifts: 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am - 4 on/off shiftsAnnual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidaysKey Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machinery
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks) in relevant timeframes.
  • Pro-active to call outs / breakdowns / line stoppages in timescales agreed.
  • Diagnosing faults & repairing equipment
  • Creating a spare parts solution plan
  • Monitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer system
  • Encourage continuous improvement and highlight deficiencies
  • Attend meeting and training courses as required
  • Ensuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.
  • Providing support to maintenance team, including coaching and mentoring staff
Qualifications/Experience required:
  • City and Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years plus in a heavy industrial background working
  • Read from engineering drawings
