A Birmingham based Mechanical contractor are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the business
Established over 30 years ago, working across various project sectors including Commercial, Education, Leisure and Industrial. Performing with a large existing client base aswell as new clients frequently coming on
The successful individual will ideally possess the following ;
- Up to 5 years experience in the detailed design of all Mechanical Building Services and Engineering systems
- A solid understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and drainage systems as well as a working knowledge of specialist systems (BEMS, fire systems etc)
- Ability to manage your own diary in order to plan meetings and site visits
- HNC or equivalent in Building Services Engineering is the minimum qualification required for the role
- Proficiency in standard ICT including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in the use of MEPWorx (Cymap) or Hevacomp (or similar) thermal modelling software
- Ability to produce good-quality drawings in AutoCad 2D
- Experience within the use of Revit would be beneficial but not esssential
