Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor working on water schemes in the West Midlands area. This multi-accredited and industry-leading contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Mechanical Engineer.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be based in the South/South-West Birmingham area and be responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining quality and constancy of technical documents, ensuring all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards and specifications, assisting with the mechanical elements of designs and products as well as liaising with other parties to ensure all technical deliverables are checked, understood, implement and approved.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous mechanical experience on water projects and ideally be educated to HNC/NHD level (or equivalent). In addition, you will be a strong team player and have strong organisational and communication skills. Finally, you will be able to work to deadlines and have a full understanding on mechanical conceptual and detailed design and optioneering.
