Mechanical Service Engineer 

West Midlands – Travelling to client sites in the UK and Ireland 

Base Salary £41,600 (£20 per hour) + OTE £55,000 upwards - Overtime (1.5X Saturdays and 2.0X Sundays) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Company Van + Fuel Card + Company Credit Card 

Salary based on 40 hours per week, but some flexibility is required. 

Mechanical Service Engineer required for a service and equipment provider specialising in centrifugal systems, industrial pumps and dewatering services. This role gives candidates the opportunity to enhance their earnings with overtime and the security of working with a stable company who are recognised as a leading equipment supplier. 

The role will suit experienced mechanical engineers preferably experience working heavy rotating equipment, pumps, or similar. You will hold a qualification in a recognised training scheme (such as an apprenticeship or equivalent). 

You will be joining a successful and growing company who supply a variety of equipment to clients operating within various industries including Water Utilities, Food, Drink, Chemicals, Brewing & Pharmaceuticals. 

Based from home, you will be required to receive instructions electronically. You will occasionally check into the West Bromwich factory, occasionally to receive spares, tools and training but most of the time you will attend customer sites.

The Mechanical Service Engineer Role: 

• Service and repair of industrial pumps, decanter centrifuges, various rotating machinery, and separators.

• Travel to client sites within the UK and Ireland.

• Stay away on average one night per week.

• Completing occasional installations and commissioning of machinery on client sites. 

The Successful Mechanical Service Engineer: 

• Any industrial background will be considered with experience of heavy rotating equipment, pumps and similar equipment.

• Experience with measuring instruments.
