Our client are a national Facilities Management provider who have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Multi-skilled Engineer to carry out maintenance and repairs on a number of their commercial retail establishments.
This is a chance to work on the sites of a renowned multi-national retailer across the Midlands.
Role Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive & emergency breakdown, & planned preventative maintenance on a large sites in a mobile capacity.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of UPS, Generators, LV/HV, HVAC systems.
- Ensuring Health & Safety policies & procedures are complied with.
- Monitoring and controlling building management systems.
- Provide first line support to the retailer stakeholders.
- Working with specialist equipment such as BMS and PLC systems
- On call rota 1 in 6.
The ideal Multi-Skilled Building Engineer will have;
- Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications such as 17th/ 18th Edition, C&G Electrical Maintenance, C&G Level 2 Mechanical Maintenance.
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience of working in a multi-skilled maintenance role
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and BMS on commercial buildings.
- Ability to work under pressure and good verbal communication skills
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge, ideally with IOSH.
- Flexibility with hours, such as working weekends (1 weekend on, 1 weekend off) and bank holidays.
- Ability and transport to travel to another site when required.

- Salary up to £37,000 based on a 40 hour week.
