This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a thriving and growing multi-disciplinary consultancy.
This well-established UK wide building consultancy provides a variety of services to a multitude of different sectors, such as: healthcare, education, residential sectors and sustainability. Typical services include, design, cost analysis, project management, survey analysis to manage expectation of possibility, costs and budget.

They are in a fantastic period of growth, expanding comprehensively across all services, especially in the sustainability side through renewable energy and low carbon sustainability development consultancy. Due to this growth, an opportunity within the building service department for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the company.

In this role you will be leading the preparation of detailed designs for construction, and oversee the team. Your responsibilities will include cradle to grave project management. As a senior level role, you will be tasked with assisting and mentoring more junior staff members.

The Role:

• Chartered Principal Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Produce design deliverables (drawings, specs, reports, site surveys etc)
• Oversee and check calculations of engineering designs

The Person:

• Experience in similar role
• CIBSE Registration (CEng)
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical building services
• Ability to manage projects and teams of all levels
