Due to our continued growth and success, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview:As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of district heating projects. This includes overseeing the design of underground piping systems, plant room connections, and other mechanical systems that form part of district heating networks. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee the installation of underground piping and plant room connections for district heating schemes.
  • Provide mechanical design solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with other design and engineering teams to integrate district heating systems into overall project plans.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the integrity and efficiency of system designs.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality assurance, and environmental guidelines.
  • Attend client meetings and provide expert advice on design and technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:
