We are one of the largest, and most reliable forklift companies in the country, with depots covering the whole of the Midlands. With a long-standing heritage in the industry, having recently celebrated our 50-year anniversary. We are now hoping to welcome a new Field Service Engineer into our family.

The Role:

We are adding to a successful team and searching for a new Service Engineer who has had experience in the forklift industry. During this role you will have hands on contact with our customers, ensuring their forklifts are maintained, serviced and repaired. This will be in the field, travelling to them and meeting their expectations for service. If you have a ‘Can-Do’ attitude, this will be a great role to continue your craft in the forklift industry. Training in our procedures is carried out with support during your time with us, but prior knowledge to maintenance and repairs is key.

Experience & Skills:

  • Level 2/3 NVQ in Automation or Similar Experience Essential
  • Background Engineering work in the Automative, Heavy Plant or Mechanical Essential
  • Previous Experience with Forklifts Desired
  • Strong Communication Skills to Maintain our Customer Relationships
  • Positive Attitude and Manner
  • Enthusiastic Towards Over-time and Weekend Work
  • Willingness to Travel around the Midlands
  • Full Driving License is Essential

My client is paying a competitive base salary of up to £37,000 (depending on experience), with a good over time scheme and great work package. This is a great opportunity to join a full established and growing company.
