Toolmaker required to join a well-established manufacturer of plastic extrusions based in the Great Barr, Birmingham area. The successful candidate will live within the area and come from a toolmaker/manual machinist background.
Toolmaker Job Overview
- Use of Surface grinders, lathes and other manual machinery
- Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
- Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
- Comply with company standards
Toolmaker Job Requirements
- Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing
- Live within a commutable distance to Great Barr
Toolmaker Salary & Benefits
- Full time - Permanent
- Day shift - Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:00pm (Friday finish at 13:00pm)
- Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Competitive holiday allowance
- Pension
