Job title: Avionic Technician

Salary: up to £68,000 DOE

The Avionic Technician is an in-depth role which is both challenging and rewarding.
Responsibilities for the Avionic Technician
- Full removal and strip of equipment
- Installation of complex wiring hardness
- Modifications to existing wiring within Avionic shelves and panels
- Wiring terminations and testing
- Loom manufacture and testing
- Systems testing
Essential skills, knowledge and experience required for the Avionic Technician
- Minimum of 8 years aircraft experience
- Previous aircraft production experience
- Previous modification experience
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship in Aeronautical engineering or a military equivalent
- Military aircraft experience
- Good knowledge of aircraft structures
- Subject to UK Security Vetting
- Eligible to work and live in the UK
Training requirements:
- Initial Human Factors; Continuation Training Human Factors
- Initial SFAR phase 1&2; Continuation Training SFAR phase 1&2
- Initial EWIS group 4; Continuation Training EWIS group 4
- ETOPS
- RVSM
