We are currently seeking a seasoned and strategic Engineering Manager to oversee and lead a multidisciplinary team of electrical and software engineers across multiple regions. This position is focused on delivering robust automation and control solutions for complex industrial projects, ensuring technical excellence, and driving innovation and efficiency across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a geographically diverse team of engineers specializing in electrical systems and industrial software development.
Manage full lifecycle of engineering projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring they meet client requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Provide hands-on technical oversight in areas such as PLC programming, control panel design, and electrical schematics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and client stakeholders to deliver integrated technical solutions.
Review and optimize engineering documentation and system designs for consistency and compliance.
Support business development and bid processes by contributing technical insight during project proposals.
Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvements to workflows and team practices.
Shape the long-term strategic direction of the department through process standardization, capability development, and innovation.
Promote and enforce best practices in health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in a project-based environment.
Deep understanding of industrial control systems, including PLC programming and electrical design.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and align engineering delivery with broader business goals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage both internal teams and client relationships.
Experience with global team collaboration is a strong advantage.
Nice to Have:
Industry experience in sectors like energy, automation, or infrastructure.
Familiarity with emerging technologies in industrial automation or software-driven control systems.
