Our client, supply specialist tooling for a variety of industries, they are currently recruiting for a Repair Technician/ Fitter to join their growing team!

Repair Technician/ Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Providing repair and final testing of Hand held hydraulic tools, Hydraulic power units (petrol, diesel & 3-phase electric powered), 2-Stroke petrol hand held tools, Electric powered hand-held tools, Petrol powered Floor Saws
  • Respraying of repaired tools if requested
  • Assembly and commissioning of hyd hose sets and hydraulic hand-held tooling
  • Modify equipment based upon customer requirements
  • General workshop & site maintenance and repairs
  • Recording of repair assessments and parts required
  • Prepare costing including required labour

The ideal Repair Technician will:

  • Experience with servicing / repairing petrol and hydraulic powered tools
  • Basic knowledge of petrol- and diesel-powered engines
  • The ability to diagnose and problem solve issues
  • Some computer skills would be an advantage but not essential
  • Full UK driving license
