Our client, supply specialist tooling for a variety of industries, they are currently recruiting for a Repair Technician/ Fitter to join their growing team!
Repair Technician/ Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing repair and final testing of Hand held hydraulic tools, Hydraulic power units (petrol, diesel & 3-phase electric powered), 2-Stroke petrol hand held tools, Electric powered hand-held tools, Petrol powered Floor Saws
- Respraying of repaired tools if requested
- Assembly and commissioning of hyd hose sets and hydraulic hand-held tooling
- Modify equipment based upon customer requirements
- General workshop & site maintenance and repairs
- Recording of repair assessments and parts required
- Prepare costing including required labour
The ideal Repair Technician will:
- Experience with servicing / repairing petrol and hydraulic powered tools
- Basic knowledge of petrol- and diesel-powered engines
- The ability to diagnose and problem solve issues
- Some computer skills would be an advantage but not essential
- Full UK driving license
