Our client, supply specialist tooling for a variety of industries, they are currently recruiting for a Repair Technician/ Fitter to join their growing team!
Fitter Assembler Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing repair and final testing of Handheld hydraulic tools, Hydraulic power units (petrol, diesel & 3-phase electric powered), 2-Stroke petrol hand held tools, Electric powered hand-held tools, Petrol powered Floor Saws
- Respraying of repaired tools if requested
- Assembly and commissioning of hydraulic hose sets and hydraulic hand-held tooling
- Modify equipment based upon customer requirements
- General workshop & site maintenance and repairs
- Recording of repair assessments and parts required
- Prepare costing including required labour
The ideal Fitter Assembler will:
- Experience with servicing / repairing petrol and hydraulic powered tools
- Basic knowledge of petrol- and diesel-powered engines
- The ability to diagnose and problem solve issues
- Some computer skills would be an advantage but not essential
- Full UK driving license
Working Hours + benefits:
- Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
- 45 Minute Break
- Pension Scheme
- Sick pay
- 25 Holidays + Bank Holidays - Increasing a day after each year for 5 years
