Are you an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant with a strong understanding of governance?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced executive environment, confidently handling board-level administration and providing high-level support?

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a PA to Charity CEO to join a respected organisation based in Birmingham on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

As PA to Charity CEO, you will provide confidential and professional support to the Chief Executive, ensuring the smooth running of their day-to-day activities. You will take responsibility for complex diary management, prepare reports and presentations, and oversee the coordination of key meetings. A key aspect of the role will be handling governance matters for the charity, ensuring board administration is conducted effectively and that compliance requirements are met.

You will play a pivotal role in board-level operations, confidently taking minutes at senior meetings, preparing agendas, circulating reports, and ensuring actions are followed up in a timely manner. Additionally, you will provide wider administrative support to the Executive Team, liaising with key stakeholders and maintaining efficient office processes. Strong Excel skills will be essential for managing reports, tracking operational plans, and supporting financial administration.

To succeed in this PA to Charity CEO role, you will have proven experience supporting a senior executive in the charity sector, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail. Confidence in handling governance-related responsibilities, along with experience in minute-taking at board level, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, and knowledge of legal or governance processes would be advantageous.
