Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Medical Administrator to support our healthcare team in providing exceptional care and services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing administrative duties, streamlining operations, and ensuring a smooth workflow in a busy medical environment. As a Medical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, managing billing and insurance claims, and facilitating effective communication between patients and medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Scheduling & Coordination: Effectively manage patient appointments, ensuring the timely and accurate scheduling of medical visits.
  • Medical Records Management: Maintain and update accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Billing & Insurance: Process medical billing, insurance claims, and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and healthcare providers, answering inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and other regulatory requirements to maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to medical staff, including preparing documents, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies.
  • General Office Management: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the administrative areas and assist with daily office operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in medical administration, office management, or a related field.
  • Must have an indate DBS, ideally on theupdate service
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance claims is a plus.
