Account ManagerPermanentFull Time role, Hybrid  2/3 days on siteFlexible working hoursSalary up to £45k per annumBased in BirminghamMedlock Partners are partnering with a global food and sports nutrition business based in Birmingham, who are looking for an account manager to support their North American operations. The successful person will have previous account management experience within the food and beverage industry, a strong commercial mindset and ability to build and develop business relationships.Key responsibilities of the Account Manager:
  • Regularly update and maintain sales forecasts to support business operations
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient demand planning and stock control, resulting in key stakeholders meeting key performance metrics.
  • Analyse and report on SKU performance to drive effective inventory and marketing strategies.
  • Handle the creation, tracking, and processing of customer documentation and portals, ensuring accuracy.
  • Support with general administrative tasks as required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Serve as the key communication link between Supplement Facts and other support functions, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide data-driven commercial insights to enable effective decision-making on key accounts.
  •  Offer sales support, ensuring alignment between internal and external team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand and leverage trends in the Canadian market.
Key requirements for the Account Manager:
  • Previous account management experience ideally with food/beverage or FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical experience, offering meaningful insight to make commercial decisions
  • Excellent problem solving and process improvement skills 
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels
  • Strong organisational skills with experience in tracking, reporting, and administrative task
  • Experience with demand planning, sales reporting, and forecasting is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) and experience working with ERP systems
  • Willingness to travel within Canada as needed to support the business
