Want to join an expanding building structures team in Birmingham at Senior Structural Engineer level? Our client is a big name in engineering and they work on high profile schemes across the country, giving you the opportunity to work on a range of projects ranging from detailed assessments of existing structures up to mult million-pound developments.
As a Senior Structural Engineer you will play a key role within the structural engineering services team, working independently under senior management. The role offers opportunities to develop your management skills and enhance your career further.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Lead projects from concept to completion
- Ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget
- Carry out structural analysis and design to EuroCode standards
- Review design drawings, calculations and reports to ensure compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their development
About you:
- Degree in civil or structural engineering
- Chartered or working towards
- At least 5 years' UK experience designing structures in concrete, steel, masonry and timber
- Proficient in relevant software such as Tekla, TEDDS
- Strong communication skills
- Current UK driving licence
