The company are a chemical manufacturing site, with products that span across various sectors. Having being established for over 150 years; due to internal promotion they are now looking for a HSE Officer to join their team.
The responsibilities are:
- Assisting various teams across Production and Engineering to develop risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Carry out ongoing upkeep of the sites environmental management systems
- Ensuring all auditing programmes are established, up to date and implemented
- Maintain and improve HSE procedures
- Investigate accidents and/or near misses and issue relevant reports, whilst ensuring the incident log is up to date.
- Support delivery of any relevant training
- Ensure compliance with SDS and COMAH
Who they are looking for:
- Experience working in a COMAH environment
- Knowledge of current HSE legislation and regulations
- NEBOSH certificate
