Role Overview:
As an HSE Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining our clients health, safety, and environmental standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Your efforts will help them to achieve their goal of zero incidents and foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and national HSE regulations and standards.
- Lead incident investigations and develop effective preventive measures.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on HSE performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing HSE programs and initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent is highly desirable, as is experience in working to high occuptational health standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
