Position: Project Officer
Salary: 37,000 - 40,700 + Benefits
Location: West Midlands

Panoramic is partnering with a Housing Associates in the West Midlands to recruit a Project Officer on a permanent fulltime basis. This role is key to ensuring that the HAs delivers an outstanding programme, staying compliant with Homes England requirements, and providing crucial administrative and financial support to the teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the handover process, including attendance and assistance during handover meetings.
  • Ensure all files are up-to-date in line with Homes England's requirements.
  • Produce Appraisals using appraisal software, Proval.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders, handling any associated queries.
  • Set up new suppliers and produce relevant paperwork.
  • Organise and attend monthly cashflow meetings with Finance and ensure the timely processing of invoices.
  • Coordinate the cashflow updates and communicate with Finance.
  • Schedule and coordinate monthly DLMeetings, prepare agendas, attend meetings, and take detailed notes.
  • Ensure BCHG's website content is kept current, liaising internally for updates.
  • Organise the signing of contracts, deeds, and collateral warranties, and handle document delivery as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SharePoint and development folders.
  • Keep the Contracts Register updated.
  • Programme Management & Reporting
  • Attend Pre-Tenancy Workshops and sign-up meetings with prospective tenants.
  • Maintain BCHG's Handover Sheet and track Homes England claims.
  • Manage defect queries and compile scheme out-turn reports.
  • Produce appointment letters for consultants and obtain RICS reports/valuations.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven experience, ideally in a housing association.
  • A solid understanding of Homes England funding requirements.
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of building processes.
  • Ability to attend site meetings and conduct site visits with your own transportation.
