Looking for a Year 6 Class Teacher role? Flourish Education are looking to recruit a Year 6 Class Teacher to work in a 2-form entry school on a full-time basis. This role has the potential to become permanent from the following academic year also.

Our client has been rated GOOD by Ofsted and is located in the Great Barr area. They are looking to recruit a Year 6 Class Teacher who is passionate about making a difference to children’s live and are experienced working within KS2 and specifically have worked with SATs before.

As a Year 6 Class Teacher in our client’s school, you will be responsible for but not limited to planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in a creative and engaging manner, working alongside the teacher assistant, safeguarding all students, marking work in line with the school policy and attending meetings where necessary.

The Year 6 Class Teacher role is due to start  ASAP and will continue until July 2025 with the potential of becoming a temp to perm role for September 2025.

  • Experience in teaching either KS1 or KS2
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to the role
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement
