Main Duties:• Plan and coordinate transportation routes and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.• Manage and optimize transport operations, working with multiple carriers and suppliers.• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.• Collaborate with internal teams to improve logistics efficiency and solve any transport-related issues.• Negotiate and build strong relationships with suppliers and third-party vendors.• Analyse transport data to identify trends and areas for improvement.• Prepare and present reports on transport performance, costs, and service levels.
The Candidate:• Fluent in French (written and spoken)• Proven experience in transport planning or a similar logistics role.• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and EU logistics.• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.• Proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office.The Salary: Competitive salary, based on experienceFrench Selection, a leading UK-based consultancy specializing in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international businesses.
