This position is available for October 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year. Providing maternity cover for the HOD, a good knowledge of the curriculum, and the ability to work independently. Position: Music Teacher (KS3/KS4)Location: BirminghamStart Date: October 2024Contract: Until end of academic yearSalary: £175 - £250Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring coverage of the national curriculum.
Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Performing Arts department to share best practices and resources.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to the ethos and values of the college.
