ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated Music Supply Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Selly Oak. Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and creative Music lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Encouraging students to explore their musical talents and develop their confidence

  • Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum

  • Collaborating with the performing arts department on extracurricular activities and school performances

 

Requirements

The successful Music Teacher will have;

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Music at secondary school level

  • Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
