Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) / Social Worker
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (weekdays only)
Location: West Midlands
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Initial 3-month contract, ongoing

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 CPN or Social Worker to join a dynamic community mental health team in the West Midlands. This is a locum position for 22.5 hours per week, offering flexibility over weekdays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying a caseload of adults aged 18 to 65 with a range of mental health needs.
  • Providing care coordination in line with the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
  • Undertaking mental health assessments, risk assessments, and developing care plans.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions and liaising with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supporting service users to achieve their recovery goals.
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualification: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Social Worker with relevant professional registration (NMC or HCPC).
  • Experience: Previous experience in community mental health settings is essential.
  • Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are required.
  • Availability: Ability to start promptly and commit to the role for at least 3 months.
