HR Business Partner

Location – B3 2TA

£40,000 - £44,000 Depending on experience

This role is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, therefore right-to-work in the UK is a requirement.

Working hours:37.5 hours a week + Office based

The HR Business Partner provides strategic HR partnership and plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive HR support and to deliver a value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organisation.

The role of a HR Business Partner:

  • Developing and implementing HR initiatives that are aligned with overall business requirements
  • Partnering with leadership to develop and implement organisational strategies
  • Acting as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Employee Relations
  • Providing guidance to managers and employees in a timely and professional manner
  • Conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations where required
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Compliance and Policy Management
  • Talent Management
  • Driving initiatives to establish and retain talent within the organisation
  • Collaborating with managers to understand future resourcing needs and provide strategic solutions
  • Change Management
  • Performance Management
  • Supporting the performance appraisal process
  • Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to managers
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans
  • Analysing HR data to identify trends and insights
  • Using data to help predict and diagnose organisational issues and develop solutions.
  • Partnering with the compensation and benefits team
  • Providing guidance on pay and other remuneration issues
  • Leading and participating in HR projects and initiatives

Key skills required:

  • CIPD Qualified, with at least two years of experience in a similar role, one year of which operating as a business partner (or similar)
  • Proven strong business acumen
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, on your own initiative, whilst also being a strong team player
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, leadership, and employees
  • Well organised with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills, with proficiency in HRIS and other HR software tools
  • Proactive and strategic thinking

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
