I am currently recruiting for an H&S Consultant / CDM Advisor for a wonderful company in Solihull. You can be based either at Birmingham Business Park or the satellite office in Birmingham City Centre.

I am interested in speaking to anyone with an interest in moving into a CDM role.

You will need to have a minimum of the NEBOSH Construction certificate and some exposure to CDM however I am more interested in having someone interested to build a career with the company and who is interested in becoming a Principal Designer.

What you need to do to be effective in this role

* Assist with the preparation of pre-construction information
* Review construction phase plans
* Provide advice to contractors on CDM
* Undertake site inspections/CDM audits
* Support colleagues at design team meetings
* Set up projects and provide administrative support
* Working under direction to deliver the duties of the Principal Designer
* Once trained - Undertake site inspections and monitoring visits to determine health & safety compliance
* Attend project, design, and other meetings, escalating issues as required by the project plan
* Support the Senior Staff as required
