Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior role and contribute significantly to patient care. The role involves working in Rheumatology/MSK and T&O Hand Therapy services, focusing on promoting self-care, independence, and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex patients, with supervision from a Senior Therapist/Clinical Lead.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient interventions using evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in research and support a research-driven culture within the services.
  • Supervise and educate junior staff, unregistered members, and students.
  • Adapt to changes in service demand and capacity.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience in Rheumatology/MSK and/or Hand Therapy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience in supervising junior staff and students is preferred.
