We are seeking a motivated and skilled Locum Band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team based in Birmingham. This is a full-time position requiring a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients.
  • Working within a peripatetic role across Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) Hospitals.
  • Supporting patients through the Discharge to Assess (D2A) process to ensure timely and appropriate transitions.
  • Providing professional advice and intervention tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
Requirements:
  • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in a Discharge to Assess setting is essential.
  • Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (due to the peripatetic nature of the role).
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload with autonomy and confidence.
