As an Occupational Therapist in a Neuro - Rehab department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within the Birmingham community. This is a locum position with competitive pay, travel compensation, and the flexibility of working from home while providing essential services in the community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Utilising sensory integration techniques to support patient rehabilitation.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the Neuro - Rehab department.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum qualification/training as a Sensory Integration Practitioner.
  • Experience in neuro-rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
