Role Overview

Atlantis Medical is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support young people with complex needs in a CAMHS setting. You will manage a small caseload (6-8 clients), working citywide as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to enhance independence and community reintegration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support young people with complex needs.

  • Develop occupation-focused interventions, sensory pathways, and strategies.

  • Work closely with CORE CAMHS teams and external agencies.

  • Participate in the Personality Disorder Unit Panel to guide care pathways.

  • Provide expertise on child and mental health occupational therapy.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

  • CAMHS or mental health experience is essential.

  • Training in Sensory Integration, Sensory Attachment Intervention, AMPS, or DBT skills (desirable).

  • Driving license and access to a car for citywide travel.
