Your new companyYou will be joining an established utilities contractor based in the Birmingham area working on multi-utility schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development as well as the opportunity to work on an array of exciting projects. Having secured an additional £30m worth of work on top of their already healthy order book, they are looking to onboard a Commercial Administrator to join their team.Your new roleAs Commercial Administrator, you will be based in their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Producing weekly/monthly financial costing reports
  • Assisting in the production of subcontractor payments and approvals
  • Providing administrative support to the commercial team
  • Issuing early warnings/claims to clients on a weekly basis
  • Attending weekly/monthly meetings with clients.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Civil Engineering industry
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and sound relationship-building skills.
