Social Media Manager – up to £40,000 – Birmingham/ on-site

VIQU have partnered with a dynamic marketing agency who are looking to hire a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join their team. This role will involve developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance their brand presence, engage their audience, and drive traffic to their platforms.

The successful Social Media Manager will have a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, as well as the ability to analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Media Manager:

  • Create and implement strategic social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to boost brand presence and engagement.
  • Work closely with SEO experts, graphic designers, and web developers to produce compelling, brand-consistent content, including visuals, videos, and written posts.
  • Track and analyse social media trends and performance metrics to inform content strategies and improve engagement.
  • Communicate with clients to manage expectations, deliver detailed reports, and align on monthly goals.
  • Actively engage with the online community, addressing comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.

Key Requirements of the Social Media Manager:

  • 4+ yrs experience in social media management
  • 1+ yrs experience in team management
  • Experience in social media management working with multiple clients/ agency
  • Expertise in social media management tools such as PM tools (e.g., Click-UP) and scheduling tools (e.g., SEMrush, Buffer).Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A passion for digital marketing and staying current with social media trends
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant or transferable field.
